When I started to read B-Side by Janis Jones I thought that by having the plot at the begining was odd but then as I kept on reading I understood why. It takes place in a beach house that Cassandra“Casey" Terranova was remodeling. Her parents left it to her when they moved to Italy.
 Casey had no idea that what she had planned for her Anniversarry night & weekend was going to be a night that she would not forget.

It all started 3 years ago when Casey was working as a bartender at Las Lunitas. Mara would stop in after work to a drink 
or two & just to unwind after a long day on the force. Now Casey was fretting over wheather Mara was going to come in or not.
Now they both like eachother but Mara just can't admit that to herself yet. Casey on the other hand has had a thing for Mara for sometime & she's not afraid to let Mara know, but she also knows that she needs to take it slow. 

Derek is Mara's detective partner on the police force & he has had a thing for Mara for a long time & he's been dreaming about her for a while. Derek wants Mara for his own but Mara isn't interested in Derek like that. Derek will do absolute anything to make Mara 
is girlfriend & to have her for himself.

This was one of the best books that I have read in a long time. It has your basics in it...Love...Romance..Jealousy..Murder & it's a great book to snuggle up to a fire with on a cold winters night. If you like books that have Love..Romance..Jealousy & Murder then this is the book for you to read. If you get  offened easy by swear words & sex the this isn't the book for you to read.

I give this book a 4 out of 4 stars because it was exceptionally well writting, I did not see any typos in the story. It kept me interested from the title till the end. The author  Janis Jones has a really good mind for story telling & getting you to want to keep reading it. I strongly recommend this story to all that want to read a good Romance novel & that can play detective as you read it to solve the crime.
