I don't think I'll enjoy reading this book. Though I preferred reading research books that address life's issues, but I do read story books at times. Well done on your review.

How exciting and suspenseful this book sounds! Having grown up in this era, in addition to living in Texas for over 30 years, I would feel at home in many ways. I had a boyfriend who also had an Oldsmobile 442 but he wasn't a creepy guy like Brookner must be! Thanks for the excellent review! We hope to read it soon.

It sounds like this book has it all!
From the way you've described it, this has to be a "must-read" for me. This is probably the best review I've read in a long time. Thank you.
