I couldn't have said it better. Some books, I just love. Others, I don't even think that he put any effort into writing them. One should never write a terrible book just to write a book.firedancer1066 wrote:I am a Stephen King fan with reservations. Some of his books are brilliant and some are so-so. When he is on his game, none does the everyday thing/person/situation becoming scary enough to put you under the covers with the all the lights burning. However, some of his books feel like they are just written for the money or hey, it's time for another book. I hate to leave a book unfinished, but some of his I have abandoned. However, IT was one of his classics, loved everything about it while it scared the heck out of me.
IT scared me. I too will never look at clowns the same.
