Twisted story!
Married divorce again married to someone and lost interest in her after marrying her!
I surely want to read this book.
It'll be a fun ride.

I like it very much because the western legal or criminal justice system's approach to justice has some important strengths. Yet there is also a growing acknowledgment of this system's limits and failures. Victims, offenders and community members often feel that justice does not adequately meet their needs. Justice professionals - judges, lawyers, prosecutors, probation and parole officers, prison staff - frequently express a sense of frustration as well. Many feel that the process of justice deepens societal wounds and conflicts rather than contributing to healing or peace.

I can appreciate flawed characters, but these characters all seem like awful people. She cheats on her husband, takes his money, and ignores her kids. Then, marries the man she cheated with, who ends up hating her and wants to kill her. This is not quite to my taste.

Reading the start of the review, I wasn’t expecting a husband wanting to murder his wife to be described as “humorous,” but I’m very curious about what kind of dark humor this book employs in order to capture its readers. I think the fact that it’s a short read adds to its appeal and this “twist” at the end that the reviewer mentions has me interested. Congrats on the BOTD!

This is an interesting dark crime fiction novel highlighting betrayal, selfishness, murder, love, Alzheimers, and an antagonist so easily hated. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @allie379 on the BOTD selection.
