Have you ever imagined being one of the only survivors from a plane crash or being lost at sea with no hope of being rescued? This was Frank, Helen, and seven other passengers from AIR USA flight 2222 to Buenos Aires except it was their reality and not a fickle of their imagination. Frank met Helen at the airport while waiting to board their flight to Argentina. Coincidentally, Frank, and Helen sat beside each other on the plane. Shocked at such coincidence, they accepted fate and got to know each other.

Frank introduced Helen to a game he plays when he flys. It involves picking seven passengers and guess who they are, what their names are, and where they are from. After picking seven players, they both fell asleep, waking to hear an announcement that the left engine of the plane is on fire. The crash positions into the sea began immediately after the announcement. Landing in the sea, Frank helped Helen out of the plane and surprisingly the seven other players from their game. It got stranger when these seven players were exactly the names Frank and Helen guessed on the plane. And that was the beginning of their worst fears and imaginations in what will soon become a never-ending nightmare.

The Mystery of Flight 2222 is told from the perspective of two characters, Frank, and Helen. This enables the reader to understand a bit of the main characters and what they are like. Frank can be regarded by society as the ideal man, married, expecting a child, and financially buoyant. But being one of the survivors from the crash, his real character is shown. Helen, on the other hand, is shown to be sorry for herself for the decisions she made in the past. Her attitude and reactions to certain situations do not suggest that.

Neviaser crafted this book with a mix of mystery, suspense, and thriller while carefully twisting the entire plot. Readers will be shocked at what happens after every turn. Each page is filled with suspense that keeps readers locked in till the very end. I found this book mind-blowing. I had a lot of emotions while reading from disgust to sadness, happiness, and even confusion at what was happening. Nevertheless, I enjoyed every bit of it.

I will be giving The Mystery of Flight 2222 a 4 out of 4 stars. There was absolutely nothing I disliked about the storyline. The only thing I disliked about the book was the pagination. It was not paged. However, that does not alter my overall rating. The book was professionally edited. There are instances with non-borderline profanity and no sexual content. Furthermore, I recommend this piece to adult readers who love suspense, mystery, and thriller. However, I do not recommend if you have anxiety and are about to board a plane or plan to read on a flight.
