Whoa! People go through abuse every day and their spirits are broken. I hope Diane gets out alive and Richard faces his karma. I'll be sure overwhelmed reading this book. Thank you.

The torment some people have to endure is very heartbreaking. Stories like these may be a bit deep for most of us who do not understand the kind and extent of pain the victims have to go through, but important nonetheless to help give a glimpse into these issues. The review brings that out perfectly and gives a good description of the content of the book. Good job.

It is sad that Richard would abuse Diane this way. Unfortunately, a lot of women are going through same. The agony they go through can only be imagined. I would love to find out how it ends. Thanks for the interesting review.

This sounds like a story of a broken marriage, woman brutality, mental derailment, and mystery. So much sadness and yet sounds intriguing. Nice work.

Domestic violence is nerve-racking. Diane's story sounds heartbreaking. Men like Richard should be put behind bars because they are causing pain and disrupt the peace of their fellow humans. As much as I'd want to read the book, physical and sexual abuse wouldn't let me. That was an incredible review.

Oh my goodness! This sounds like a really heavy read! But it also sounds like an important one that would probably keep me turning the pages, though with some hesitation. Thank you for the comprehensive review.

I thought this book will be more about psycology. But I heard you saying action-packed! So I think that this will be far more interesting. Thanks for the nice review 👍👍

Well, I found your likening of Diane's marriage to an "autopilot" scenario quite hilarious.
I agree that this book couldn't have found a better reviewer; you did a great job in highlighting its summary and analysing the contents.
Thank you.

It is such a sensitive topic... I always used to stick my nose up to this kind of stories. I think I was one of those ignorant 'why would they stay?' But, I think, recently I started realising that there must be something within me, not within these stories, that is holding me back. Your review is very thorough, thank you. As a result, I am adding this to my shelf. This may just be the very first book of the kind that I will brace. Thank you!

Diane had to go through so much torture physically and mentally. Domestic violence isn't tolerable anywhere and it has a negative effect on children. It feels like a real story rather than a fiction. It definitely leaves a mark behind. Great review!

Domestic violence, both physical and emotional is disheartening. I just hope people are brave enough to talk about it to find a way out. I would love to know more on how Diane's case turned out. Great review

I'll surely add this book to my shelves. Domestic violence is something I have frowned upon and will continue to. Men that engage in such, don't know the psychological effects and physical trauma it leaves on the women.

This doesn't sound like a book I'll enjoy, but I will certainly learn from it. It is for this reason that I plan to read it. I believe abused women everywhere deserve a little more empathy. Thanks for your review.
