The Date Farm. At first glance, you think of a documentary series on tv with various singles on a farm. Possibly going on a blind date. However, that was not the case. The actual storyline is of violence. The same type of activity that you would see from the main event of 9/11. Tragic, but true. Even though, I have not read the full complete series. This was by far the greatest. You would think Uri and Lara would get right to it. But being two people against the Islamic forces. It can be quite chaotic. At the beginning of the book, it was a bit fast-paced. In my opinion, I enjoy taking my time. Getting to know the main characters of the story. But since I have not read the other books. I have to continue on with my reading. Now, I enjoy getting a visual of my readings. I picture the whole story in my head like a film. So picturing the farm, Lara's family, Uri, and many other "scenes". Made it quite the "page-turner." You would think this was non-fiction if you read this series, but in reality, it was fiction. Which makes this a great story. When you get to the mall, you think it would end. But no, it turned in to this huge event leading in New York. Also, I enjoyed reading the different perspectives for every character in the story. I can not wait to read more. I am glad to have read this book. Reading this book brings out more for me to explore another culture. For my review, I give it a 4 out of 4.
