Official Review: Lost Girl (Book One of the Lost Trilogy)

The story is very well written. I was captivated from the first page and stayed up until after midnight to finish the book! I had to know what happened. I look forward to reading book two (and three) in Ms. Scott's Lost Trilogy. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. It has all the right elements: romance, mystery, action with a strong dose of suspense all rolled into one. I was very impressed with the way the author brought all the characters together. You were left feeling very well connected to them all.
I am seldom caught unawares by a story but this one kept me guessing the whole way. I never saw the end coming. Very good job keeping the suspense up! By the end of the story, I felt like I had lived it all right alongside Allison. We have all heard the things that go bump in the night, but this story left you feeling more connected and less scared of the unknown.
One thing I would recommend to the author in regards to the plot. When it came time to put all the pieces together, it was kind of rushed. I was left slightly confused as to how it all started but by that part, it didn't matter so much. I would recommend a little more background story. Great job on the details though! You brought every scene to life. I was also very impressed with the way she handled the romance between Allison and Paul. Very classy! Would love to hear more about Toni and Ray's story. Hopefully we will get to see more of Jenna in book two also.
I am giving this a 4 out of 4 rating. I highly recommend this LOST GIRL to anyone who enjoys a good paranormal mystery with a healthy dose of romance. It was a SENSATIONAL read!
