No Reprieve is a sci-fi thriller by Inge-Lise Goss that centers around Paislee and her attempts to bring down the dreaded "Institute". With the help of her uncle and his band of rebels, they plot to end the android Pelligin's control of the entire west coast operations of the Institute. Paislee's uncle, knowing Pelligin has eyes only for Paislee, gives her a mission to win his trust.

Set in a post war scenario where the entire country has been destroyed and is in control of cyborgs and androids. Humans are no longer seen as a threat to Pelligin's master plan. The plot flows smoothly and allows the reader to follow every scene. Every page leads to the next and stays well focused on the main character. Inge-Lise writes so elegantly and keeps the reader's interest peeked and hinged on every detail.

A novel that has romance, intrigue and an air of espionage that will surely peek your interest. One scenario flows so easily into the next and sparks your imagination. I give this novel 4 out of 4 stars for it's superior ability to keep a reader so fascinated and interested in it's plot. This novel is book one in a series and I for one am eager to follow Paislee's exploits in book two.

Professionally edited and with only mild sexual content and no elicit language this novel can be read by an audience aged 16+ and is recommended for any lover of sci-fi novels. I found myself riveted to this novel from start to finish. My greatest like is how Inge-Lise so easily flows from page to page and never loses my interest. I found myself so in tune with Paislee I could feel and empathize with her every emotion.

If I had to express any dislike of this novel, it would only be to read little more descriptive element about the details of the inner sanctum of the institute itself. All in all Inge-Lise touches on this topic just enough to paint a vivid image in one's imagination. A more detailed image of victims would have added to the intrigue I had following this gripping novel.
