The Bank of the River by Michael Richan

I am not a big reader of fictional ghost stories, so I was apprehensive at the beginning. It did not take long to get sucked into this title, though, and I was able to read the book in two days. The story line is rather simplistic with many vague undertones of something much more intricate. I was pleasantly surprised that every time I thought I had the story figured out, things would get changed up on me. I especially love the ending, as I am not a "happily ever after" girl when it comes to endings. Good read.
