The Dark Web Murders by Brian O'Hare, is a book that highlights what goes on in the lives of other people that society has classified as the elite. The reader is introduced to a man that is found dead in the shower after being attacked in prison. From that, we move to another incident that seems to start a pattern of serial killings. A judge found dead makes it hard for the police to find the killer because of the many suspects that attended a gathering he hosted the night before.

Reputations are threatened as the members of The Club, a secret circle, try by all means to keep the details of their relationship with the judge from getting in the wrong hands. On the other side of the Internet, arises a blogger who identifies himself as a punisher. Taking justice and vengeance into his own hands. The police investigating the cases become aware of the similarities between the murders and the blogs that they become convinced he could be the murderer, but who is behind the mask?

Judgment and deception seem to be the theme throughout the book. Deception is portrayed by how the people that are supposed to keep the law perform unimaginable things behind closed doors. The reader is taken through different emotions from the beginning to the end. What I like about this book is that it is a series, but you can read it without going back to the previous books. There are different perspectives that make you consider all sides of the story and how the characters view life from their angle.

The Dark Web Murders deserves a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. The book was written exceptionally well and the author took us on a beautiful journey of mystery and thriller as said in the description. There is a clear indication that the book was well edited and the chapters flowed effortlessly. The suspense got so high that when Mr. Doran said, "Be still, my palpitating heart!" I thought it was directed to me.

I recommend this book to thrill-seekers and people who love mystery. The book does not have erotic scenes but consists of vulgar words and has gruesome details about torture so I would not recommend it to anyone who prefers not to read about such. I completely enjoyed reading this book and there is absolutely nothing I did not like about it.
