I hate to use the word "literary" and scare away a lot of people looking for a fun book, but this is a very fun book with intriguing characters and guaranteed unpredictable multiple plots. I enjoyed the first part of the book, although I must say it seemed to be slower paced than the rest. The book is an inside look at Columbian drug lords and their families, and takes you places you have never been before. It is well written, a very hefty read, and not one of those skimpy cookie-cutter thrillers you usually find these days. I know you will not be disappointed.
