Add communicating with ghosts to the trials of a teenage girl, and you will start to guess at the difficulties Mary has fitting in with her classmates. Put a handsome new boy into the mix, and the tension just builds. Mary's best friend helps her keep perspective, and her grandmother, a medium, helps her accept herself. This is a well-written ghost story for young adults.
