What happens when a fiery and passionate Greek meets a cold and ruthless Italian? Well, whatever happens, it is nothing short of fireworks.

One day changes everything in Asimina's life. A crazy stalker hounds her. With no recourse, she runs to her doctor cousin, Petro. At that moment, Petro was treating the mafia boss, Raffaele Morelli. As fate would have it, Asimina and Raffaele meet. The moment Asimina Alexiou and Raffaele Morelli meet, sparks erupt. Impressed and intrigued with Asimina's grit, Raffaele takes her in. He resolves to protect her.

Will Raffaele succeed in protecting Asimina? Will Asimina and Raffaele find true love?

Vaya Vaitsis takes the reader on a roller-coaster ride full of tears and laughter in her novel, Believing in Fate. It is quite evident that Asimina and Raffaele are meant for each other. However, unlike most cliched novels, Asimina does not fall in Raffaele's arms like a damsel in distress. She is independent. Raffaele has to work hard to win the trust of his red rose. Raffaele is a ruthless mafia boss. Naturally, his life is embroiled in violence. Asimina is not a shrinking violet. She takes the demonic side of Raffaele in stride. She accepts everything about him. She does not intend to change any aspect. Raffaele is the only one who can control the fiery Asimina. He is not only domineering, but also understanding and caring. He anticipates her every need. They are like two puzzle pieces that fit each other perfectly. I loved this about the book.

The book contains over five hundred pages. Despite this, the plot never drags. The author hooks the reader until the very end. In fact, the book even ends with a cliff-hanger that keeps the reader hanging and wanting for more. This is an amazing feat on the author's part. She is indeed very talented.

The book has multiple story arcs. There are many supporting characters. However, they all have a purpose. They never overwhelm the plot. It is a treat watching the bond between Asimina, Nat, Lia, and Petro. Tommy is a "cheesy gun." The M & Ms are funny. Bianca and Mia are trustworthy companions. They all have their blooming romances as well. This ensures that we are never bored.

The novel deals with serious themes like rape and miscarriage. The author is sensitive. She showcases these themes beautifully. Still, children should skip this book.

The only con in this book is the presence of multiple errors. A round of editing and proofreading would make this book absolutely perfect.

Keeping in mind the pros and cons, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. The lack of professional editing compels me to take away a star. It is a perfect book for fans of mafia romances.

This book sounds like an intriguing story. I like the title since I am always telling my children to let it be and it will work out how it is meant to. This sounds like a good book to read, but I think I will wait until another round of editing occurs. Thanks for the review.

I reckon this is a romatic novel. I would really love to read about the booming romance as well as the other themes discussed in there. I will ,however, wait for another round of professional editing and proofreading. Thank you for the great review.

The concept of multiple story arcs attracts me. I think that it would be very hard to write this type of book. This was a great review. I enjoyed reading it.

I have mixed feeling about this novel because it has some interesting elements but romance is really not my thing, and in a long novel that can be a problem. Regardless, thank you for your great review!

Only a genius could carefully write a book like this. I love it how you describe them to fit rightly as perfect puzzle pieces. Despite how cliche the story-line is, I’d definitely give it a read. Thank you for an awesome review!
