The Forest of Hands and Teeth series

Post by sissybear »

I gust finished the first book and it was good, if you like story's of zombies, sorrow and love this is the story for you. There is a another book it's called " Dead tossed Waves" but you need to read the first book which is called "The Forest of Hands an Teeth". If you do read the series I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did :D

I read "The Forest of Hands and Teeth" a few years ago and I loved it. The first book was actually easily my least favorite. Did you read the final book, "The Dark and Hollow Places?" That one was simply amazing. A great way to end the trilogy.

I've been so curious about these books, the titles are so eye catching! I'm glad to find people who have read and enjoyed them, I'm going to give them a try!

I know that this series is very well regarded but I struggled to get through the first book. I just couldn't connect with the characters. It is very well written but just not for me.

That's ok because some books aren't made for everyone to read.....Like you said "it's not for me" :D

Wow, those titles are amazing. I've never even heard of this series until now, but the first one 'The Forest of Hands and Teeth' has maybe the best and most titillating title I've seen in months. Will definitely have to look into these!

Ahh I've seen this book everywhere, but hadn't heard any reviews on it yet. This is definitely getting added to my to-read list!

I wasn't a huge fan of this book. I found it very hard to stay engaged, and it took me forever to get through it. I stuck to it to finish though. I just felt the storyline was slow and not very exciting to me. There were some good parts. I found the author was able to pull out some pretty sad emotions from me. When the mother died in the beginning, and when they found the baby zombie later on are just two of the examples. Other than that, I just felt it dragged on.
