Hi All

I am always on the lookout for new authors and have encountered the above....Sorrow's Requiem, by Alan Nash.

Alan Nash, from Birmingham, England, has (as I understand it) been able to realise his dream of becoming a novelist following the unfortunate passing of his Uncle. This has lead to me reading, without question, the best book that I have read in years.

What I would class as a thriller, with a central ongoing love story, I felt it impossible to not feel for every single character....which I haven't been able to do with many authors, even the huge ones. The central character, Ben, goes through an enormous and heart-wrenching series of events, which Alan Nash captures in a sublime manner, following the change in his personality in such detail that you cannot avoid wanting to glue this book to your hand until it is finished.

I cannot recommend this book more....it is truly remarkable.

Andy

No worries. I really hope that you enjoy it (as I'm sure you will).
I'd be interested to know your thoughts once you get around to reading it and being very keen to give new authors as much help as possible, please spread the word.

Thanks for the recommendation... I just downloaded it for my Kindle and I'll also let you know what I think. Interestingly enough there are no reviews for this on Amazon.

That's strange as there are 4 reviews showing when I log on to Amazon.
Well, enjoy :-)
