Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren

A debonair strange man comes to town. Will people love him for who he is or will they fear him for what he is? He goes by the name Crighton, and he's in town for one purpose only, to claim the lives of his own. Sadly people don't see him for what he really is and underestimate his power, not knowing that he's the devil's messenger, a powerful fighter and Lucifer's top-ranked soul catcher, the devourer of souls. Crighton is looking for a man called Benjamin Poe, a devoted and renowned captain of the firefighters. What could've such a noble man done to deserve a visit from the angel of darkness?

The scent of hell manifests itself on earth as Crighton continues to cause havoc, death and betrayal among the people. As he journeys around earth, we witness families being broken, hope being lost and betrayal being the only option. We notice trust being built on the heavy grounds of deep dark secrets. We see the raging war of good and evil, angels and demons, truth and lies. We experience the lives of the supernatural and honor among demons. As they say, the devil shall roam the earth.

Soul seeker is an action-packed paranormal fiction blended with romance and a dash of science. The book is told from different perspectives and portrays different aspects of life which includes love, family, trust, survival, and hate. It entails a forbidden love story between good and evil. The author focuses on the diversity of nature and existence. The plot is centered around the unrequited and requited love affairs, the battle of good and evil and the balance thereof. The book relates the unrelated and caters for balance.

Soul seeker portrays on an advanced level the matters of the heart, issues of faith and the consequences of inherited hate, lies and deception. The plot is largely based on sibling rivalry, multiversity and the existence of various life forms. It reveals the carelessness of human beings, and the evil they've spread across the world and between themselves. This book entails the importance of gratitude, and the respect for nature and all its life forms. It shows the effect of living a lie, and the importance of knowing oneself and the acceptance of celestial beings. The author dwells deep on the family secrets and bonds, and how destiny can only be delayed but not denied.

What i like about this book is the author's style of writing which was intriguing and easy to read and understand. The plot got captivating from the onset and throughout. I enjoyed the humor and how the plot was structured. The chapter names made it an interesting read. I give it a 4 out of 4 because it was well edited and very interesting. I recommended this book to the action and paranormal-fiction lovers.

No one gets to see the true self of Crighton. The devil must be really shielding him and his deeds
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
