[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Lin Su Yoshimura - The Days of Darkness" by JC Walker.]

Jason was perusing a newspaper when he saw the following headline: “MAJOR COCAINE DEALER RELEASED.” A short story about Matthew King followed the headline, but Jason saw it as something else: a ticket to life in the fast lane. As for Matthew King, his first business meeting out of prison turned out to be laden with bad news—he was becoming broke. He realized it when his associates brought him up to speed on the current situation. However, like a hound from hell, Jason muscled his way into the meeting, presented a solution to the dilemma, and secured a second meeting. At the second meeting, Jason revealed his daredevil plan to raid a major drug cartel’s cocaine factory deep in a remote Mexican jungle. No one has ever beaten the cartels on their turf, but the question must be asked: will Jason’s plan work?

Lin Su Yoshimura–The Days of Darkness by J C Walker is a C/T/M/H novel. The story revolves around Lin Su Yoshimura, Jason Stone, and Matthew King. Between these three characters, nothing is impossible. Lin Su is a consummate warrior who is exceptionally skilled in various forms of combat. She is a former sex slave and a highly rated graduate of life’s school of hard knocks. She also witnessed her mother’s cold-blooded murder. Therefore, it is apt to say that she came from the pits of hell.

Concerning Ex-Major Jason Stone, he is not just battle-hardened; he is also world weary. A total of sixteen years in various elite military units and a heart-breaking discovery of his wife’s homosexuality used to be the biggest events of his life, but not anymore. Jason’s recent dishonorable discharge from the army made sure of that. As for Matthew King, he is a major cocaine dealer in New York. Before his imprisonment, he used to be responsible for at least 20% of New York City’s illicit cocaine trade.

Lin Su Yoshimura–The Days of Darkness by J C Walker is a reader’s dream. From the prologue to the epilogue, I found this book impossible to put down. In fact, I read it in two sittings. The plot development was engrossing, but the resolution was even more spectacular. There was no dull moment throughout the time I spent reading this masterpiece. Although the plot was more focused on Lin Su, other characters were also sufficiently developed. Considering how much I enjoyed this tale, I must confess that Mr. Walker is an extremely talented writer. This story is also filled with high-octane action, superb characterizations, and expertly executed plot twists.

Lin Su Yoshimura–The Days of Darkness is the second-best book I’ve read for entertainment since the beginning of this year. I could not even find anything to dislike about this classic page-turner. In spite of all the impressive qualities of this novel, my favorite feature is none other than its cataclysmic ending. I also loved the book’s final plot twist. I was totally unprepared for it, and I ended up feeling like I was hit by a flash flood. Nonetheless, it made me think of the author as a master of plot twists. Furthermore, Lin Su’s confrontation with her sex master was another high point for me. In short, there are several noteworthy things in this book. Therefore, fans of the C/T/M/H genre should pick up this book with an expectation of being blown away.

I rate Lin Su Yoshimura–The Days of Darkness three out of four stars. It deserved a perfect rating, but its editing was not good enough. The errors were not very significant, but they gave me enough reason to decide against awarding it a four-star rating. Considering the genre of this book, it is no surprise that it contains several instances of non-borderline profanity. It also contains some violent and erotic scenes, so children should not read it. Nevertheless, Lin Su Yoshimura–The Days of Darkness is the complete package for crime fiction lovers. If you love stories that involve big explosions, drug dealers, martial arts, or military weaponry, then this book is the square peg for your square hole.

This book is about the negative ways to earn money and power like robbing the drugs. All the ways are criminal ways.

Jason seems like an opportunist bent on cashing on Kin's dwindling fortunes and unfortune life. I wander if he will succeed. Thanks for the captivating review.
