Laundering money for Southern Mexico drug lords is a lucrative business for both Clint Kennedy, his step parents David and Candace Cohen and their family, but it does not come without it's risks. Clint is ordered by his boss, Pablo Navarro, to prolong his trip to Miami, which he takes following David's health scare.

Clint is not prepared for this trip which proves to be longer and more eventful than he expected. From his elder step brother, Abe, threatening to cause trouble from behind bars, catching up with the extravagant lawyer, Xavier Sousa,to crossing paths again with Charlotte. Clint has to make plans about expansion of the family business, a bank that Jack, the younger and more likeable step brother is now running as his father, David, recuperates, even if he's not sure they need the expansion following recent unrest at the bank's main money source, the Mexican cartels.
A promise he made when he was still young to a now dead Eddie Collier catches up with him and he's unwaveringly dedicated to fulfill it.

Things are spinning out of control for Clint and he's losing it, as he is used to being in control. Pablo doesn't give him any more information than the newspapers about what is going on in Mexico and he knows better than to press a pissed off drug lord for information.

Money Faucet is a thriller and crime novel by Joe Calderwood. It is the second book in a three book series. I am now itching to get my hands on the first and third books, to continue devouring Joe's genius, descriptive and entertaining style of writing. I enjoyed and understood Money Faucet as a stand alone, so it is not necessary for the reader to have read the first book of the series to understand this one.

What I loved most about this book is how perfectly Joe paints the pictures of the scenes and the characters in your mind and leaves no blanks for you to fill. The book is in clear, straight forward language making it an easy, but thrilling read.

There is nothing I came across that I did not love in the book, hence why I am going to give it a four out of four stars rating. I wouldn't give it three out of four stars because, despite it having spelling errors I could count on one hand, everything else about it is exceptional. The book was without a doubt professionally edited.

There are no instances of strong sexual content. There is, however, mild profanity and one instance of a graphic description of a murder, which I wouldn't recommend for more sensitive or younger readers.
Anyone who enjoys a good old crime thriller will find it hard to put this book down once they begin, because Joe Calderwood really knows how to keep his audience engrossed.

I love every bit of this book. Especially, how Clint dealt with every situation. I pictured him to be a gentle-looking man. :D

There are a lot of characters in play in this book. I love that the author expands knowledge on each and every one of the characters and how they all intertwine. It is an amazing crime novel.
