Learning more about distant cultures and other people's ways of life is always a plus. Great review!

I think the same. The author used a very descriptive language when describing India, so it was a real pleasure to read this book.

The book is extremely interesting and multi-layered. I’m sure both the previous book and the sequel are equally interesting. Thanks for the comment.

Mumbai is always good to read about. I think it will be welcomed differently by Indian readers. Some would find it amazing and some wouldn't like the stereotyping. I haven't read it but I sure hope I like it.
