The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is an action-packed international adventure. The story begins with an attack on a Beverly Hills mall. While a large crowd was watching a musical performance, gas suddenly fills the area. The crowd at first thinks it is part of the show, but they soon realize they are under attack. The police and Homeland Security are called to the scene. They quickly discover that this was a terrorist attack. Soon after there is another attack in New York. The law enforcement agencies call in their best agents to help. Uri Levin and Lara Edmonds rush to the FBI headquarters to help in any way that they can. Uri is an agent of the Mossad. His wife Lara works for both the Mossad and the FBI. They have been successful at catching terrorists in the past. Will they be able to find out who is responsible for these horrible attacks and bring them to justice?

I truly enjoyed this book. Winnick does an amazing job of blending a fictional story with real events. This makes the story seem very real and plausible. I really enjoyed learning more about the tension between Iran and the United States while being entertained by an exciting story. The main characters in this book are excellent. Lara and Uri are a powerful couple. They are both brave independent people who clearly love and support each other. The story includes a bit of romance as well. The locations are described in enough detail to allow you to picture the scene, but not so much that you get bored. I also like how the story switches perspectives. This creates a very dynamic story.

There is nothing negative to say about this book. The pace is fast, but it allows time for good character development. I felt invested in Lara and Uri’s mission and hoped they would succeed. Telling part of the story from the perspective of the terrorists gives the reader insight into the mind of these attackers.

I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I did not find a single editing error. This book was clearly professionally edited. The story was captivating. I finished this book in just a couple of days. This is the fourth book in the series, but it works well as a stand-alone story.

I recommend this book to mature readers that enjoy international thrillers. Fans of crime novels would also enjoy this book. This book contains a good amount of violence, so I would not recommend it to people who are sensitive to this type of content.

This story has a great deal of interest. I'm curious how Uri and Lara handled the fresh message they got while on vacation.
Superb review.

I agree with you on this 'Terrorism attacks have been a major form of violence that negatively affects society. Such attacks should be prevented by all means possible in order to protect lives and properties.' This is also why I appreciated Lara and Uri's work.
