Review: Scream Vacation by I. Seymour Youngblood

This novel is definitely for kids and has a sweet and yet unexpected ending. I enjoyed it, it left me smiling and shaking my head at Carters shenanigans and his constant stepping into trouble.
The book centers around Carter Leeland and his mistake vacation that his twin sisters picked out instead of the glorious Orlando Florida. Needless to say, Carter is a grump for the whole trip, but then some ghostly sightings begin not to long within everyone hearing about the Elmore Girl's murder. Is this vacation spot haunted of is Carter just making things up to ruin everyone else's vacation?
I feel that the story could have been more tightly written, at times it seemed like the author wasn't taking himself too seriously. In turn it made me not take the book as seriously as I normally do when reading.
This story was very original, a really nice concept for a story. Overall I have no regrets about reading this story and will recommend it to my younger cousins.
