I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from Amy Gamet's Meant For Her. It took a little while to get into the book, but it was a quick and easy read, and was actually pretty enjoyable in the end. The book was a mixture of crime and romance. I was constantly trying to figure out what happens next but was thrown for a loop every time.

This book is about a navy officer who is sent to work on a case of a dead person found in a hotel room, and is sent to the victim's family in order to crack a case for his boss. The victim's daughter doesn't want to deal with this until strange occurrences start happening to her and at her house, due to her father's previous experiences in the navy. She has to figure out the codes from a safety deposit box but someone seems to be following them to distract her.

This was a book in a series and although it kept my attention and I enjoyed it, I don't know that I would continue in the series, as it did not leave me wanting more. I felt the story was completed and I did not need to follow up with the character at the end of it.
