What makes a place haunted? Who haunts these places? Is it possible to communicate with beings in another world? This mind-blowing book would take you on a journey to the unknown and back.

The Supernatural Professor - The Howling Forests is the first book of The Supernatural Professor series written by George Han. It comprises twenty-one chapters. The book explores the adventures of Dr. Anthony Jin, a lecturer at the National University of Singapore. He could see and communicate with spirit beings from the other world. The story starts with Dr. Anthony having his breakfast in a restaurant when a gentleman walks up to him. He is Colonel Tan Choon Kim from the Ministry of Defence. He explained to Dr. Anthony that after their field exercise, three of their national servicemen did not come back. This was alarming because it had been rumoured that the forest they used for the exercise was a known location for puzzling events. One of these events is an unresolved murder that took place six years ago. As the plot progressed, Dr. Anthony decided to help the Colonel. The Supernatural Professor - The Howling Forests shows us the kindness of a doctor, who accepted his fate and decided to use it for the benefit of his society. Did Dr. Anthony find the lost boys? Did he succeed in using his gift to aid his society? This amazing book promises to be an enjoyable read.

I found so many positive aspects of this book. I loved the fact that all the characters were dynamic. These differences in their personalities made way for realistic interactions. I found the language of this book relatively easy to understand because I did not have any difficulty with this book. The author has a great narrative technique. George told this story in such an engaging manner that I found it difficult to drop this book until I was done reading it.

Another positive aspect I found is that it was blended with a bit of horror and humour, which made reading it enjoyable and worthwhile. I must commend George for explaining the abbreviations in this book; this helped my understanding as I read the book. I discovered the meanings to certain abbreviations like AWOL, ORD, NS, ASP, and so much more.

I tried so hard to find a negative aspect to this book but I found none. However, I found minimal errors in this book, which was not a problem.

I rate The Supernatural Professor - The Howling Forests 4 out of 4 stars. I did not give this book a lower rating because the errors that I found did not take away my overall satisfaction from the book. I recommend this book to those who enjoy horror fiction. Also, people who enjoy reading fiction would find this book interesting.

I enjoy horror fiction, but it's awful that it's just book one in the series.😕
Thanks for the great review though.
