The quest for money has made people make strange decisions. But when it comes down to it, really, how far will people go?

Money Faucet by Joe Calderwood is a thrilling tale where greed and conscience meet, and simple accidents and careless promises take on great significance.
In it we meet Clint Kennedy who is, in his own words, a "walking grey area". When his peaceful, albeit questionable living is disrupted by an unexpected phone call, he finds out that the shaky ground he has built his life on might not be as stable as he thought.

The storyline of this book got my attention because it's not cliche or too common, and the author's writing style really brought the story to life. I have not read the first book in this series, so I was afraid I would get confused at certain points. I was glad this was not the case, as I was able to flow perfectly with the story. I was not lost at any point.

I loved how I could get a feel for each of the characters; they all took up distinct personalities in my mind until I could almost visualize them. Each of them with their distinctive character traits stood out whether they played prominent roles or not, even Elmer Collier who never spoke a single word throughout the book. The author was able to convey to the reader each character's emotional state per time. Whatever they were feeling was made clear, and it made me feel like I understood these characters and why they felt the things they did.

My favorite part of this book is the suspense. The book opened with a scene that left us wondering, and then the full story was unravelled little by little, causing the tension to build until it got to its peak, where it was then resolved. I found myself turning the pages quickly, wanting to know what would happen next. Even though there wasn't much that was unpredictable, the way it was written made me feel eager to read more. Though the main conflict in this book was later resolved, there were still some threads that were woven throughout the story that made me look forward to reading the next book in the series.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book.

I commend the editors on the superb job that they did on the editing of this book. I only found one error in the whole book. I'd rate it 4 out of 4 stars, and I recommend it to anybody who loves thrillers.
