This book creates a look at many views. Final Notice is about realistic and non-realistic world aspects. Many characters, many places, to combine a perfect view into the author's view in this writing. You have one set in California that has their real life day to day life, and friends that help their views into the world. Then, you have the technology department who built a supposedly supreme device that would harmlessly help the world. Then, we have what the world would do with it. As it was said, the world has different views, opinions, and beliefs to decide such factors. To try and diffuse those is insane. Though that's what, Van Fleisher tried to to give us a taste for. He did that. Vince and Trudi were the everyday people, who lived their lives in the dark and tried to adjust. The technology developer VJ wanted to help maintain the finalities of peoples outcomes. Unknowingly accepting the responsibility of peoples' free will. FBI trying to figure out how to control the outcome or beat it to the punch. The end result as stated in original review of book... What would you do if you knew you had a infinite days to live?

I loved the fact that the author made you think. Built a numerous scenario to make you see several view points. The characters were well thought. They each had a different background. They each had something to stand for. His political views were stand offish. He didn't try to push you either way in any scenario, but to give you a true prospectective.

I, myself, had no problem with this book. Though, I see many different issues that may arise to it. Everyone has there views, beliefs, opinions, and ideals. Be that as may, I view the author taking the initiative to write on many halves. With that in mind, don't judge to harshly. Read til end, it does have a fairy tale ending and does say "This is fiction.'. Though, after reading other stories, I think this may be judge too harsh just because of politics, and the way our world is today.

The fact of NRA and politics written into the works of this fictional book, it took me longer to read and digest the book. To get a true feeling into the writing. I agree with some and also agree with the other. I decided to get a feel for it from other's points of view. In the end, this author, has stated what we all think at one time or other. Whether, we go one way or the other after, is the contrary. We all thought along these terms. From the unknowing, to veteran, to politician. We all have our opinions growing up, changing into adults, then solidifying.

I would recommend this book only to the open minded people. Those who remember back when, to those they became. Even political people who once wanted peace, who see need for change. After this book, the change they want may not be what they desire. The groups that I met to discuss these topics aren't ill at heart. Their sadden, angered, and agree this fictional world will never exist. Though, it would be nice to resolve with one bad event. Technology can only fix so much, but nothing can fix free will and violence with permission.

I give this book a 4 out 4 stars . It is a deep intellectual book. One that takes the heart of the matter and combines the brain into the scenario. I don't normally read this kind of book, but I found myself drawn into knowledge and foresight into this read. I went beyond my usual self to learn issues I never intended to discuss with others and learned that I wasn't the only one. I also learned the other strong side view points. I studied law, and I now have a better understanding of whats around me. I thank Van Fleisher for that, (though my brother disagrees with almost everything, I apologize for him Mr. Fleisher.) I come out ahead as a reborn thinker.
