Sydney Livingstone is a small time tennis player from Savannah. Due to an injury that would inevitably end her tennis career, Syd decides to play with the little time she has left. What has she got to lose? There's only one problem, a stalker with malicious intent lurks in the shadows. With everyone around her presumed as suspects by the police, Sydney can trust no one. Who could be behind this? Can Sydney survive this cruel, dark and sinister game?

Faults by Orion Gregory is a mystery novel set in the modern world of sports, featuring women's tennis. It combines the world of modern sports with the twist of crime, mystery, suspense and drama. Faults is also a thrilling novel that gives an insight into the mind of a stalker whose mental state is questionable. It throws light on the deceptive nature of a vital part of some of the things that happen in the world today.

I would love to commend the author on his insightfulness. The manner with which he combined the world of tennis with the suspense of the novel, without confusing the story was brilliant. I found that I learned about the world of tennis just by reading this book. I loved the buildup of each character. The relationship between every character was well thought out. Syd's progression from a panic driven, uncertain individual to a successful, confident one was inspiring. Despite the dangers that came her way, Syd faced everything head-on. The book also shows how the police are aggressively determined to protect the victim of a stalker.
I love how the book sheds some light on forgiveness, determination, confidence, friendship as well as doubt, guilt, denial, deception, and the dangers of carelessness. I believe anyone who has ever been stalked by someone can relate to this book. This was a book I couldn't put down until I was done with it. A truly captivating read.

I would like to commend the author on the impeccable editing of the book as I found no typos or errors. There is no reason not to rate this book 4 out 4 stars. It was an intriguing read. I found absolutely nothing to dislike about it.

I recommend this book for young adult and mature readers as it contains some minor profanity and a few scenes of violence.
