Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood

Post by cbmatte07 »

Although it has been awhile since I have read this book I have to say it has been the most memorable. If I remember correctly it was assigned for an essay of some sort in English class when I was in high school and I just fell in love with it, I even purchased my own copy.
It's a rather thick book, a long book with lots of detail which is paramount to the ending.
Overall, it is about a woman convicted of murdering her employer and his housekeeper. And that's all I will offer from the story because it's so complex and detailed to summarize would be a complete spoiler.
The big question is: Is she innocent or guilty of those murders?
It is the one book I will reread many times. I would recommend to any avid reader.
