I was gifted the book Killing Kate by Lila Veen in exchange for an honest review
I don't really know what to say about Lila apart from she's very intimidating n the way she writes.

Jenna is messed up. Each day she struggles with control not just with booze and cigarettes but with herself. After attending her abusive fathers funeral Jenna is spiralling out of control. She has gaps in her memory and god only knows what kate's done this time.

At the start it was a struggle just to keep reading at one point I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish it. About half way through the book I found myself not wanting to read it but unable to put it down. kept hoping for a happy ending but didn't get it. This book is very confronting and at times uncomfortable. I'm still trying to decipher the meaning of the book if it even has one. while it was a bit to in your face for me if you like dark and twisted then this is for you. I give it 3 stars for unpredictability.
