I'm an American Sherlockian, and I read this book about half a year ago. I understand many didn't like its gritty and somewhat less child-friendly portrayal of Sherlock Holmes's Victorian London... but as for me, I LOVED it!
I don't quite consider it a part of the Sherlockian canon, but this is definitely still one of my favorite Sherlock pastiche. Any other Sherlockians who read this installment? What did you think?
