Review of E M P Honeymoon
Kelly, the protagonist, witnessed a shocking scene that escalated into a serious and dangerous situation. It all began when Kelly and her husband who is a cop, went on a honeymoon in Honduras, Central America. While strolling through the city, she stopped at a shop with a strange storefront to obtain gifts for her relatives and mother-in-law. However, she observed that the shop was actually a lab with a computer and a mysterious machine. The computer screen was displaying maps of the United States and Canada. Aiming to take the pictures of her discoveries, a man dragged her from behind, covering her mouth. Fortunately, she managed to escape. However, her life was now in danger, and her relentless pursuer will not give up. She contacted her brother who is a senator and narrated her ordeal.
Earlier, Su-jin a top military commander in Korea has been on a secret mission to Honduras intending to eradicate the two countries mentioned above with missiles, which their scientists were still working on. Su-jin and her men who had scientific backgrounds disguised themselves as tourists with fake identities to gain entry into Honduras. Will their plans succeed? What will be the fate of Kelly and Tom? Find out in E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer.
The characters in this book were well developed and all played significant roles. I would describe this book as enthralling. The narrative was constructed in simple, easy-to-understand language, and scientific terms were explained in simple grammar. I was so immersed in this book that I denied myself periods of sleep. There is also realistic information about the advances, advantages, and disadvantages of technology. This is my most favorite part of the book.
There are numerous moral lessons in this book. It portrays betrayal, hostility, and adventure. It indicates the importance of good teamwork with full cooperation and hard work. I also admire the wisdom and courageous act of Kim Jung Lo. The writer had put in commendable effort in developing the story and characters. Every bit of this book is worth reading. It's also worth being the book of the month. I found no error in this book, kudos to the writer.
This book is nothing short of incredible. It is exceptionally well-edited. I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. I found nothing to dislike about the book. I recommend it for readers who love adventure and suspense.
