Life is one thing that could get back to anybody faster than you think. The fact that our lives influence those of the ones we love is a good reason for us to do good. Sometimes our past can come back to haunt us and the people we love. Rage by Leonard DiGregorio is a crime thriller that is set in modern-day Israel and contains themes of revenge, terrorism, family, and love. This is a fast-paced crime thriller that lacks any dull moments.

Moshe used to work for Mossad, where he did things without questioning his superiors. However, one man he helped apprehend was released in a prisoner exchange. This man is not just after Moshe, but his family too. Moshe stopped working with the Mossad and also changed his identity, living in the U.S. with a woman whom he loved dearly. Holly. He never learned of the release of this high-class terrorist until his father was shot at. Now he would have to come out of his hiding to fight back, not just for his family but for all of Israel. amid deceit, betrayal, and other limiting factors. How would this man correct his mistakes and protect the ones he loves?

Moshe's identity was leaked by someone who had access to classified files. Moshe has to find out who is behind this, and he will also have to tell his parents about his relationship. It would be hard for his mom to accept the fact that her only son would be marrying out of their faith. When Tel Aviv was threatened, it was up to Moshe and his team to save them from the Sheikh. How will the team go on to save Tel Aviv from a bombing that would claim millions of lives?

I can only imagine what it feels like to leave a place where terrorism is the order of the day. It is how these terrorists come under the guise of religion that will always amuse me. Many people see Muslims as violent because of the bad eggs among them. I doubt that belief will continue after they read this book. If religious beliefs were well thought out, then I don't think there would be any need for all this war going on. In the process, Jamal did what he felt was right in the eyes of Allah, yet he wasted many lives.

The fact that I couldn't foresee anything about this book made reading it very interesting. The book played out like a movie in my thoughts. I couldn't help reminiscing about this book even after I was done reading it. I never knew of a religion known as Druze until I read this book. This book also expanded my knowledge of Israel. I can't fathom why religion could go as far as choosing who you are going to marry. One of the best scenes in this book was when Leo, knowing that he would die trying to save his family, still went ahead to do it.

This is a crime thriller that would make readers feel very emotional. I nearly cried when Yosef died. Yoder was one of the best characters in this book. This book has two parts. Part I talked about Jamal trying to get his revenge on Moshe for killing his son. The second part talked about Sheikh's plans to nuke Tel Aviv. The fact that the Sheikh wanted to bomb Tel Aviv as a way of getting back to them shows how deep religion can go to cause war. This book was an embodiment of action, romance, and love. Just when I thought I had finished Moshe's story about his mission to Israel, another story with more alluring suspense comes up. I don't know why you won't read this book.

The only fault I found in this book was the page numbering. Aside from that, everything else was spot on. The scenes were detailed and developed. The author did a very good job of character development. Everybody who reads this book can easily flow with the storyline. The story was told from a third-person point of view. The availability of strong female characters added sauce to the book. Stories like this make me admire those heroes who gave up their lives fighting for their country yet never came out of the spotlight.

This book deserves nothing less than a 4 out of 4 stars. I can't wait to read the other series in this book. The suspense the author ended this book with would make any good reader anxious. I would recommend this book to people who love crime thrillers. I can't wait to read other books by this author. The book didn't have any errors. It showed it was exceptionally well edited.

A very sobering message you have there at the start of your review. I also like the way you've not only preserved the sense of mystery in your summary, but enhanced it as well by not revealing any spoiler and only briefly caressing the secrets of the story.

I really like your review, so I might just check this book out later as well.

Crime/murder thrillers are one of my favorites. I am also really interested in terrorism. I think I am trying to understand how one group can hate another that much for essentially nothing.

Nice review Ekechukwu. I really love the way you were able to keep me in suspense and yet not releasing the 'juice' contained in the story.
I'm sure to check this out soonest.
