These are some older books but has anyone else read these mystery jems? There are full of suspense, humanity, historical settings and laughter.

Robert McCammon does a fantastic job writing description without over- or under- serving the plot lines and the main character, Matthew. Even though the books are longer than the average 300 pager, the story is so enticing and filled with twist, turns and the ever changing answers to the questions: Who is behind this? Why? Most important how?

McCammon also tugs at mans psyche ever questioning our social relationships and forms of justice. Without throwing opinion into his fiction he aims these themes at his main character just to see what will happen.

If you've read it or both, what do you think?
If you haven't...GO READ!
