I was given the book "Children of Fiends-Omnibus" by C. Chase Harwood in exchange for an honest review.
I said it after I read "of Sudden Origin-Omnibus" and I will say it again this series is truly terrifying. Mr Harwood is a master of horror once again I was left with nightmares.
Stewart Dean and his crew along with some military soldiers are sent on a mission to retrieve some wind turbines for the City so they will finally have enough power to live properly not just exist. Along the way they see what has happened to the once beautiful America now ravaged with pollution and death. That's not to mention the devil children otherwise known as Pucks who will invade your mind and bend you to their will. Will they save the City or be slaughtered mercilessly?
If you thought the Fiends from book one were scary wait until you meet the Pucks. There is a whole new cast of characters some you will love others you hope will come to a horrible end. The picture mr Harwood paints of the pollution ravaged land is so realistic. Another brilliant read you won't be disappointed, I give it 5 stars you can find it at Amazon.
