The development of technology and industry make our life easier, as we can feel it today. Nevertheless, there are positive and negative effects, which we also have a role in these effects.

Pulse by B.A. Bellec uses the future for the setting of time in the story. Pulse is the name of a big company, which is engaged in technology and industry. Under the Sharpe family authority and the hard work of Pulse employees. They made a lot of products that are used by many people and they have a big influence in life, even if you hate Pulse you cannot resist the products. On the other side, there is Anti-P which consists of some people who are against Pulse, because they have already known something that the company hides from Pulse fans and the public. At that moment, the company holds a festival to get more attention from the public and Pulse fans. Finding the festival as a good moment, Anti-P uses the opportunity to tell everyone the truth of Pulse is hiding. Both Pulse and Anti-P prepare everything they need to succeed in their plan, also the fans and public have waited for the festival, but without them knowing, there is another terror that awaited them and changed everything into a nightmare.

I really enjoy the plot of the novel. Even though the author wrote the story from a different point of view based on the characters, the content is still related to each other. Because of that, when I read the novel, I felt like I was watching a movie that was playing in front of me. In addition, the characters, setting of times and place, scene, and other important things are clearly explained. So, it is easy for me to remember each of the characters and to figure out where and when the incident happened, that I am not lost while reading it.

Besides, there are some cruel or creepy scenes in the story, since the genre of this novel consists of crime, thrillers, mystery, and horror. So, I recommend this novel for teenagers and above, especially for those who like the story with those genres.

I rate this novel 4 out of 4 stars because I hardly found the grammar mistake or typo while I read it, so it is professionally edited, and because it really hooked me in the story. Also, I really respect the author, for writing this incredible story, even he had not had much experience before he started to write his novel.
