I recently read and really enjoyed this book. I think it was very well written and keeps the reader engaged throughout. However, after finishing and discussing with friends we still have unanswered questions.

Who is the father of Shelby’s baby?
How did Kate not know that Bea had Delilah the whole time? Is it really believable that Kate could have been unaware for so long and that Delilah didn’t try to escape?

Yes, I just finished this book. The character of the baby’s biological dad must not have been important to the author. But the fact that Bea had Delilah hidden all those years in a tiny, upstairs room was suspect and I wondered about the questions that you had also. I wondered if Bea allowed her to come down to the studio at all? Strange ending.
