How would you feel or react if you found out that you have an extraordinary ability to study people, connect with them and follow their current events without being with them physically? I wish I have such power. The Guiding Eyes by Michael Till is a work of fiction set around the terrible event of 9/11.

Francis called his younger brother, David Sorensen, to inform him and his wife, Jenny, that he would be visiting them for a vital discussion. Jenny was very excited to have her brother-in-law. While waiting for Francis to arrive, something strange happens to David. He had a dream, sort of a revelation, where he encountered a pair of human eyes (the guiding eyes) that merged with his and led him to his brother, Francis. He saw how a man driving a BMW knocked his brother down. It seems like what follows isn't different from what David sees in his dream.

The mystery is that David sees things vividly as they happen by focusing and thinking about a person. David and Jenny think of using this special gift to solve problems. They offer to assist the US with the help of the guiding eyes to track Osama Bin Laden. This task seems easy but very sensitive, delicate, and scary. What would happen next in the story? Read this book to find out.

The Guiding Eyes is a rollercoaster ride filled with mystery and suspense. The story took off smoothly and had me drawn right in from the preface as I followed the author on his gripping and fast-moving ride. The author did excellently well by developing lovable and relatable characters. I have so much love for David and Jenny that I wish I could warn them of the dangers ahead. I also admired how this couple always worked together to get their assignments done. I was so intrigued by the mystery of the guiding eyes that I tried picturing and meditating on a particular person. Sadly, I didn't encounter the pair of eyes. Sounds funny, right?

Furthermore, there are so many lessons to learn from this masterpiece. Readers will learn not to be greedy and that everything is not about money. They would also learn to utilize their gifts for the right purposes. The aspects I love most about this book are the simplicity of the language and the fact that I didn't encounter any grammatical errors throughout my read. The editor did a flawless job.

In conclusion, there's a blend of murder, crime, friendship, terrorism, mystery, and suspense. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this book. It was worth my time, and I believe prospective readers would feel the same way. The author skillfully created a storyline that is relatable and engaging. His narration of events was vivid, and I felt like I was present to witness every event. The epilogue was the bomb and a thriller.

The Guiding Eyes deserves a perfect rating of four out of four stars. I found nothing to dislike about the novel. The overall organization is excellent, and the plot is very intriguing. I would highly recommend this book to people who love works of fiction. Readers who enjoy a mixture of crime, mystery, and terrorism will surely enjoy the read.

I really enjoy stories about terrorism, I suppose this comes from a desire to discover what motivates such a level of hate. A book about a way to stop it before it happens would be fascinating.

As someone who believes was born with the gift of studying people, this book resonates with me. I would love to see how the author demonstrates this ability and how someone who has it relates with other characters within the story.

Studying crime and why people do it is always thrilling. This book seems like a good read. Thank you.

The powers sound intriguing but it wasn't an interesting choice for the plot it is in.
