Money Faucet by Joe Calderwood is a very exciting piece. A book full of action, amazing descriptions, and a great storyline. In the beginning, I found out that this is a second book, but no worries, the book can be read alone. Nevertheless, I recommend reading the series since the author is really amazing at catching your attention with action and details.

Our protagonist, Clint Kennedy, is a decent man, a very lovable individual who enjoys his life in Mexico. However, Clint is maybe not as decent as you think. Clint is a criminal working for several druglords laundering their money. This makes Clint a rich man, and despite all of his criminal actions, he still gives back to his society by opening an academy for kids, which makes him even more lovable in the reader's eyes. Clint suddenly gets a call from a family friend from Florida telling Clint to immediately come to Florida. Upon arrival, Clint was hit by multiple problems, the owner of the bank, through which Clint was laundering money, had a stroke, and many men got killed. While dealing with these problems, our protagonist gets an order to stay in Florida as long as possible since there are some issues back home. Clint learns that a lot of men back home have been killed in a short period of time which adds even more issues for Clint.

This was only a brief summary of course, but the story is very interesting and catches your attention with every new page. As previously mentioned, the author did a great job with descriptions, for a while I lost myself in the book and did not want it to stop. The characters were very well described and formed. I also enjoyed the fact that Clint was a bisexual man, I haven't read a crime-thriller that has an LGBTQ+ character so that was a really pleasant surprise.

The editing was excellent, and I did not catch any grammar mistakes. However, the only negative aspect is the very long sentences, I had trouble staying focused after some time. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves thrillers, books about crime and mobs, and books full of action. There are no plot twists and the book flows smoothly, with not too many surprises.

All in all, I loved reading this book and rate it 4 out of 4 stars. There are no explicit sexual scenes, but if you are sensitive to curses and profanities, this book may not be good for you.
