Review of Drip by Drip

Will Linsdell perfectly portrays the depth at which corruption can eat deep into the society in his book Drip By Drip: Battling the odds in Cambodia. What becomes the fate of the unlucky individuals who get tangled up in this corrupt system? This 317-page book focuses on the themes of adventure, history, and family.
An exciting trip turns sour for Bill and Rachel Brown when they find themselves in the middle of a broad scheme. Bill's curiosity to get to the root of this devious plot and Rachel's inability to confront her husband's decision saw this couple facing unfathomable torment in the Cambodian jungle. Their families and friends were not left behind in this unpleasant situation. Several people are left dead to cover up the corrupt practices in play. Dr. Yin, who can be said to be the initiator of the misery of the Brown family, was not spared in the aftermath of this catastrophic event. Can the people behind this terror be stopped? How can justice be served in a corrupt system? Read this book to find out the conclusion of this thrilling novel.
The exceptional way Will showcases his writing prowess made me fall in love with this book. I was completely enthralled. The author's skill in bringing together the elements of suspense and thrill was outstanding. I was kept on the edge while reading the book, speculating on what would happen next, and I loved it. The author's initiative to include the images at the end was flawless; I appreciated the author's effort in providing enough details to help the reader understand the picture created through words. For instance, without seeing the image included at the end of the novel, I could feel the gruesome act done at the killing tree with the description given. The images only enhanced the feeling that was already built up. The characters were well structured.
I love that the plot was something I could relate to since it tackled the issue of corruption, which I am acquainted with, which created an engaging reading experience for me. Rachel Brown is one of the characters I greatly admired in this book because she defied all odds. The notion that was painted, especially in her husband's mind, was that of a weak woman, but this perspective changed during events that occurred later on in the book.
The book was excellently written, and there is nothing I dislike about this book. However, the book was not adequately edited, as I came across several grammatical errors. Therefore, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.
I recommend Drip By Drip: Battling the odds in Cambodia to lovers of crime and thriller novels. The pages of this book will shed more light on what it truly takes to right the wrongs in a society full of darkness.
