Kelly and Tom Turbulo, a recently married couple, enjoy their honeymoon at a resort, in Honduras, by the beautiful picturesque beaches, including tourist activities, such as guided tours and scuba diving expeditions. Everything seem perfect, nothing could ruin their fun and relaxing experience. Well, not until the-ever-curious Kelly strays from her tour group and stumbles across what she believes is a Terrorist Laboratory.

After a frantic call to her brother, Mikael McBright, who happens to be United States Crusading Senator, they, together with US Government officials and her newly-wedded husband, venture on a journey to solve the mystery. Does the Laboratory really belong to terrorists, or is it just another harmless study? Will they successfully solve the mystery or is it a dead end?

E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is an intriguing novel, filled with action, capturing twists, and beautifully-outlined plots. May Mercer uses real life situations and thereafter adds thrilling twists - in order to entertain the audience - this is a creative approach that most authors fail to see and cherish. The book was magnificent, as I read, I was constantly at the edge of my seat debating what event would unfold next. Dorothy effectively used various literacy devices to enhance her book and vividly create the countless interesting scenes in which the story is set. The characters are well-written and never failed to capture me, they are each inimitable and could not have been better presented.

The novel's perspective alternates between the perspective of major characters - the newly-weds, The US government officials, DL (the Korean Leader), and the Korean terrorists - as well as the minor characters. I appreciated this narrative, as I was given the opportunity to view the events from different points of view. I believe this novel is one I would have added to my reading list, despite the obligation to review it. Furthermore, I loved that the events that transpired could not be conjectured.

In all honesty, I found no negative aspect in this book. I listened to the audio copy of the book, and for this reason, I believe there is a possibility I might have missed important details, I was also unable to detect any punctuational, grammatical, or spelling errors though I can conclude that if there was any, it did not disrupt the narration. The language used was simple and easily understood.

As a result of the various factors outlined above, I have rated this book 4 out of 4 stars. It contains no sexual content, nor does it contain profanity. I would recommend this novel to anyone - as it is not focused on a particular religion - looking for a thrilling, fun, and adventurous quick read.
