Review for Murder in the Garbage

Murder in the Garbage follows the intersecting lives of two men who have almost similar life experiences. Hank Boucher a former Navy seal recently turned CIA agent. Raoul Martez finished his obligatory service with the army and recently gotten a job as a garbage Collector to facilitate his ambition to attend night school and get his degree. A murder has happened and how the body was found is probably linked to the potentially seedy Waste management Company, Triangle Waste Management. This is the first assignment, what has it got in store for Agent Hank Boucher.

The author, Jerry A. Greenberg, follows the philosophy the dreams are to be lived and you shouldn’t give up on your dreams. He is the author of other books such as, Everyone needs a companion, the Dream series, and the bronze bear. He is also a self-taught artist with a thirty-year career in painting for large commission pieces for hospitals, banks and office buildings. Murder in the Garbage is a thrilling and captivating, with a mystery that pulls you in to find out what happened to the murder victim and who is the true traitor to the nation.

I enjoy how we can relate to the characters in the story. The emotions of starting a new path from one that is now closed to you. The feelings of inadequacy even with a prior confidence in what you did. The feelings of new love blooming even though you don’t know what the future holds for you. The feeling s of a hopeful future as you go down a new path hoping it all goes well. The current lives of Hank Boucher and Raoul Martez reflect these emotions that we each feel at different periods in our lives.

I can’t say there is anything I hated the story for. The accurate description of Mexican Americans, without too many stereotypes. I didn’t like Agent Boucher’s partner with his biased views of those around him and his over competitiveness. Agent John Delafonte comes off as a man who always wants to be the best and might not mind harming those around him to get there.

I’d rate Murder in the Garbage 4 stars out of 4 stars. I give this rating because of hoe much enjoyed the story and that the grammar used is almost near perfect.

This is a story that can be recommended for everyone to read as its very easy for anyone to follow the story. If you are a big conspiracy fan and enjoy thrilling stories with a bit of mystery, you will enjoy this book.

I found no errors in the book.
