Humanity's worst fears are derived from the existence of aliens or rather people from other universal dimensions. Unfortunately we're the same aliens we dread, but how? Considering the aliens we assume exist show their presence, I predict we might be brought to our knees. Pulse: Book One has a number of characters who go by the pulse brand something like Pulse domination where they do more than just business by exploiting the environment and all that is within it including humans sadly.

The author portrays how murky humans can get in the name of making supernormal profits or enriching themselves. By themselves I mean the leaders in the business field. B.A Belec is actually satirizing the whole aspect of global warming where a lot is being brought down or destroyed without subsequent replacement hence leading the world to a great mess moving into the future. The quotes within the book also summon our deeper selves to think of what we are doing and revert it for the betterment of tomorrow or rather finding sustainable ways of carrying out the same since we have to develop and industrialize anyway.

Just as COVID-19 has torn us apart miserably there is more to come given we don't heed to the warnings evident from changed and totally obstructed weather patterns as well as mysterious wild fires. The book is published in the future hence provides us a glimpse of how things might turn out in decades to come an approach I really liked. The reader has also embraced dialogue which normally takes any story to another level. The book was professionally edited with little to no errors. I liked the font as well as spacing used summed up with a tremendous way of laying out his chapters using time which was basically all centered towards some festival.

I also liked that the selfish people who were the genesis of all this catastrophic events weren't spared but also taken down to ruins by the result of their actions. We also are able to learn when to say stop when you realize you aren't signed up for something though you might be involved in a way as Eric did in the book. Suspense was used widely adding flavor to the book. As expected there is swearing though not a worrying amount. I just couldn't have enough of how the book turned from cool to rogue all in one shot especially during the festival or nightmare as the author calls it. I generally loved the book and disliked nothing.

I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars since it quite thrilling and a very cautionary book since we are able to think of how our actions are going to impact not only our children but also 100 years from now when we are long gone. I would recommend this book to young people since they are responsible for our tomorrow. It is them who can make it their life habit of atleast doing a tree each Saturday and surely we will get out of the woods.
