Pulse:Book One by B.A. Bellec combines the story of what is happening in the political system, the power struggle of powerful men in our various countries, and the effect it’s having on our environment. Pulse resonates the story of a very big tech company that provides the country with everything they need, including food, water, transportation, organs, and the basic amenities humans need to live, but underneath it all they were doing some of the most ingenious things ever accomplished and while doing those things they were killing and destroying people's lives. And whenever they are being sued the cases are always either dropped or they win the case on no merit. That drove Natalie to form a group called anti-p. They stood against everything pulse did, anti-p was tagged as terrorist because they stood against the one company everyone loved, those that doesn’t, kept their mouth shut. They got a chance to reveal their secret when Mike the CEO of the company decided to throw a festival for the world, but everything went sideways when some human eating monsters invaded the festival and the island where the festival held.
This book has everything I want in a novel, the action was good, the author threw a little bit of romance into it so it wouldn’t be bland, the horror, the horror wasn’t too much to the extend where I would drop it and say I’m not reading and it was not too small, it was just right. The proportion of suspense, thriller, romance, horror and action mixed was just right.
What I don’t like about this beautiful display of art? Nothing, there is absolutely nothing I dislike about this novel. Starting from the character to the whole plot, it was extraordinary. The editing of the book was done very carefully because I didn’t come across any grammatical error or any plot hole. I understand this is the first part in the whole series. This novel is simply a work of art.
I would rate this work a solid 4 out of 4 stars because it has the potential to becoming a TV series and one people would love to watch, I know I would love to watch it.
I would recommend this novel to everyone who is bored and looking for a novel to spice up their day, it would also be perfect for those of us that likes horror movies, series or novels
