One dashing CIA agent that is used to working alone, two beautiful women part of a secret government organization, and one cop and his wife on honeymoon. Together they end up on the island of Honduras when the new bride Kelly accidentally stumbles onto something that looks very suspicious. Add an innocent-looking young woman who turns out to be a dangerous terrorist with six men under her command. Put this together, and you get one adventure of a lifetime. What will happen when these three government organizations run into each other? Will there be romance in the air with the single CIA agent? Will they work together to save America from the threat?

Positively, Kelly has so many people looking out for her, she finds herself well protected, and in the end, even if she is not a government agent, she is still a key part of solving the mystery. The banter between Sharon and Steve gives a welcoming light-hearted spin on the book.

What I would find negative about this book is no matter what government organization you are from, people should start working together if something or someone is in danger. They should not keep people in the dark because they work for another organization. The police would not share details with the CIA and vice versa. The fact that you work for another government organization should not stand in the way of your country or the citizens of that country's safety. Yes, they should be cautious about who they share classified information with. If a person has been positively identified as a government agent, they should be free to share what they know and work together for everybody's safety.

From the pen of Dorothy May Mercer comes another page-turner. E M P Honeymoon is an excellent book. I had so much fun reading it that I could not put it down. This is not a typical spy novel, as the author herself calls this her "reality-fiction" genre because this is one of a long line of books from her pen. With no grammatical errors found in this book, I would easily rate it 4 out of 4.

This book is fun to read, and in what seems to be the author's style, just as soon as you know you think what is coming, she surprises you with an unexpected plot twist. I love this about her books. I would recommend this book to teens and upward as it is well-written and exceptional.

I completely understand the part you disliked in the book. I did feel like they kept people in the dark and I like the fact that you addressed it in your review.

I agree with you on the police and CIA working together in a situation that endangers citizens. Thanks for the review.

A lot seems to be happening in this book and that is what makes it special. You mention this being described as reality fiction by the author and I assume this is because she meant to make the story as realistic as possible. Would be interesting to find out if she did a good job. You make it sound like she did a good job at that. Great review.

You gave a comprehensive review. This is an exciting plot. It's unique to read about a couple who ended up in an adventure while on their honeymoon. The issues you noticed are reasonable and rethinkable.

I like your summary of this book, you've left me intrigued about all the characters. Agencies butting heads and keeping information from each other is a classic storyline.
