I was asked to read this book and write a review on it before it was released to the public. This was my first to read of Joan Curtis's. I couldn't put the book down and read it less than 2 days. Here's my review of it:

If you like suspense and a great story line, this book is for you. The Clock Strikes Midnight is riveting with a mix of relationships, family drama and murder all rolled into one. You get immersed in not only the plot, but each character’s set of issues and lives as well. Joan Curtis does a great job of drawing the reader in and having you get emotionally attached. There are surprises and twists that keep you guessing and leave you wanting more. This is a book you won’t be able to put down as it definitely holds your attention.

Has anyone else heard of it yet? If not, I would highly recommend pre-ordering through Amazon.

Your blurb is enticing, however I don't know anything about the book after reading it. haha. I do like that you couldn't put the book down, and your sentiments towards the Author's abilities. I would like to say I would add it to my reading list, but not knowing you personally makes me hesitant. I feel I will need do more research as to what the book even is about first. Also, I would be interested to find out what your rating on it would be (x out of 4).
