Review of E M P Honeymoon
E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer enters the action genre but with deep hints of a thriller. The book presents a rapid development of the story, putting the reader in a true thriller that can make you shiver. The story begins with a phone call and instantly engages the reader in the relationship, instilling an emotion of fear. Kelly is one of the main protagonists on the heels of a suspicious group of people, but they notice her, and she panics. Talking to her brother, who was a senator at the time, she explained the incident to him, but until she told him what she had seen, the conversation ended. The worst-case scenario for Kelly is unfolding. She is trapped, and that is her destiny.
Although Kelly, and her husband Tom must be on their honeymoon, things are different. Encountering a terrorist group, the two find out about a horrific plan and witness a terrifying sight. Kelly quickly hides her heart and mind racing, mainly because of Tom's absence. Kelly herself has to deal with a few men who are too dangerous. The Caribbean honeymoon is not going according to plan. But only if Kelly knew that such a cheap vacation would be expensive. Later in the story, the couple unfolds, forced to stop the terrorist plan and thwart the actions.
E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a book that is thought out well in terms of plot and development. The author introduces different types of particles, such as humor and action, to perform and move the whole plot around the protagonists. At a fast pace, the story enters its development and elusively becomes a complex connection. This light and easy-to-read book of about 200 pages is a good version of a crime story. The book also includes several points of view, jumping from the POV of one character to another. The author has a good perspective, at times, it feels like the moments you are reading about are real life. The details in some parts are descriptive and decorated, which helps the reader imagine colorful and realistic events.
But although the story in E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is not a new type of plot or an innovative version of development, I can not say anything negative. The overall structure of the story is pretty well-minded. And even too hurried at times, I liked it because you feel the emotion, but you don't lose yourself in long thoughts.
E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is grabbing and captivating, and I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. Because I didn't encounter any mistakes, it was enjoyable to read. The professional editing and complex structure of the construction and design contribute to the ease of reading.
The story is appealing and with a very agreeable plot without straining and may even make you laugh at times, which also contributes well. For fans of action thrillers, I recommend E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer, as you will like it both in content and structure. If you are a true fan of thrillers and crime fiction, this book is definitely for you. If you expect horror, this book may not be the right choice.
