This story is about what could happen if nuclear warheads got into the wrong hands. We are introduced to a honeymooning couple on Honduras island. Kelly and Tom, Tom is a cop in the CCPD. While doing a spot of shopping Kelly comes across a gift shop called the pigsty. She needs service and walks into the back shouting for help. She comes across a questionable computer lab. Realizing she shouldn't be there, she turns to get out when a hand grabs her from behind. Managing to escape, she returns to the villa and waits for Tom. Tom is out on a diving excursion. Later in the story, Kelly and Tom meet up with Steve Spaulding, a C.I.A agent. Agatha and Sharon are both in Intelligence. All are interested in the terrorists that Kelly uncovered E.M.P. Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is fantastic.

This book is outstanding. From the first page, you are sucked into the action.Tom and Kelly meet up with Steve, Agatha, and Sharon, and you feel the frustration of the couple's honeymoon being gate-crashed. The characters we meet are clearly described. You soon see the plot from their point of view. Many points of the story when they have to investigate the terrorists make you anxious in case they get caught. I enjoyed seeing the group's friendship, progress from strangers to being supportive friends. There are helpful sub headings all the way through so you know where you are in the story. At the rear of the book, there is a summary of all the characters and who they are in each chapter, which is helpful should you lose your way.

There isn't anything to dislike about this book. The editing is of high professional quality. This story flows nicely, allowing you to escape into another world. The story came to a natural end and was satisfying. All the subheadings are in blue and so stand out nicely, and on every last page of a chapter, there are charming 1950s-style rockets in red and blue. It is helpful to know you are about to start a new chapter.

I have given this book 4 out of 4 stars. It has an original plot, and you can see it has been well researched.

This story will suit those who enjoy the crime, thriller, murder, and horror genres. There is no foul language or awkward romance scenes, so the emphasis is on the brilliant story.
