What will happen when the world supplies of electricity is attacked? How will our technology dependent world function? If nuclear wars are to break out how can we save ourselves? The best way is to stop the attacks before it happens. This can be done through spies and other defense agencies. Dorothy May Mercer wrote extensively on how the US is in possible danger through the southern borders.

Tom and Kelly Torbulo are on a honeymoon to an island called Honduras in South America. Kelly while on a tourist tour, stumbled on a secret computer room. She managed to escape but she had a premonition that whatever was going on there was horrible. Kelly alerted her brother Mike Mcbride who fortunately is a senator. He alerted the CIA, and his own private security team. Out of his private security team he sent Agatha and Sharon to Honduras with a primary goal of keeping his sister and her husband safe. Agatha and Sharon reported directly back to Cynthia, Senator McBride's secretary. The CIA also sent Steve Spalding to cover the suspicious activities and look after Kelly and Tom Torbulo. Fate brought all our characters together and they formed Team USA on the island of Honduras.

After various activities, they discovered that the Dear leader of the Homeland, sent some group of spies to Honduras with the aim of attacking the USA with a satellite containing an atomic bomb. This group of spies were headed by Sue Ri Jin.

This novel has so many good sides. For one it is very informative. E M P honeymoon makes atomic science easier to grasp. It also describes the various ways the USA security may be in danger, and also proves how well the USA can respond to distress in record time. It has a fun side to it. It gives a good dose of adrenaline through the missions been undertaken.

Well the downside would be the writing style. For one the dialogues were pretty lengthy and inconvenient. Plus some of the description were a little confusing. Confusing in the sense that at some point in the dialogues the tones changed and it made me read some parts twice and some of the wits were lost on me. Aside from that, I don't have any other negative comments.

I'll rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. Despite the style of writing, the E M P honeymoon was well edited. And this made me give it that rating.

The thrill in this book is high, so I'll like to recommend it to people who love thrillers. The scientific aspect will be appreciated by all those who are interested, or in the science field. The story has a fun wit as well, a slice of romance and a couple of swoon worthy moments. To the romance lovers you should try out this book. The whole story is big on team work and I recommend it to people who are having a hard time grasping the idea of team work.
