The Winter Killer by Beth Large is an interesting thriller novel that talks about a female serial killer, Lacey Peirce. Lacey Peirce is a cold-blooded killer who shows no mercy to her victims. She goes out to search for her victims, lures them, tortures them and finally kills them without any form of remorse. The author starts this novel by giving a brief introduction about Lacey, her family and what might have led to her being a serial killer. This novel consists of twenty-nine interesting chapters. Do you want to know how Lacey selects her victims? Do you want to know what made her become a serial killer? Do you want to know how it ends with Lacey? Then read this book to find out.

This book was an interesting read. The author did a great job of narrating each chapter in a captivating manner. I like the author's style of writing. Each event was thoroughly described with so much detail. I could easily relate to the story. Another interesting feature I admire about this book is the plot. It was well-developed. This book was also filled with suspense. It can keep its readers glued to the page till the end.

However, there are a lot of things I dislike about this book. One such example is the pattern in which the texts were arranged. Some of the texts were arranged haphazardly without following a regular pattern. I also noticed that the author did not use distinct paragraphs in this book. All the texts were jam-packed. This made reading extremely difficult. There was minimal space between one line of the sentence and the next line of the sentence. I had a tough time reading this book as I struggled with identifying the next line of sentences in an orderly manner. I also discovered that some of the font sizes of the texts were different. Some of the texts were larger than others. I also did not like the fact that the introduction of each new chapter was not distinct from the ending statement of the previous chapter. Some of the chapters were clustered together with the texts of the previous chapter.

The Winter Killer by Beth Large is an interesting novel with a good storyline. However, I noticed that there were numerous typographical and grammatical errors in this book. These errors made reading very tedious and laborious. Sometimes, I had to repeatedly read some sentences to make sense of them. This was a tiresome experience for me. I also noticed that the texts in his book were poorly arranged. I did not enjoy reading this book. I strongly suggest that this book be thoroughly proofread and edited. Therefore, I would rate this book 2 out of 4 stars.

I would recommend this book to fans of thriller novels. This book contains some sexual scenes. As a result, I would recommend this book only to adults that do not mind the sexual scenes.

Well, I want to grab a copy of this book to see if the disorder of the narrative is intentional for creative purposes. Great review!

Amazing, I have only pictured men as serial killers but that book changes everything. I would like to know what led to her becoming a serial killer. Great review.

It is hard to imagine a woman being a serial killer. There must have been many extreme experiences in Lacey’s past to contribute to this. I am glad that you mentioned the sex scenes. These make me very uncomfortable and I try to avoid them when possible.

This seems like a novel that's potentially great but needs more editing, in particular concerning proofreading and text formatting. The division into paragraphs is crucial for readability, so I understand the frustration you can experience if you have to read a jam-packed text. Thank you for your honest review!
