Loved Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King. As always it was edge of your seat reading with the scary events creeping up on you as you read a supposedly simple plot, which turns out to be anything but. The story and characters are unnerving because they are not scary in the expected way but rather it is their ordinariness that frightens! Great King stuff.
